Notice your feet.
Feel the contact with the floor or ground beneath you. Sense the temperature, the texture. Just observe.
Bring awareness to your legs.
Notice your calves, knees, and thighs. Can you feel the weight of your legs being held by the earth?
Now your hips and lower back.
Is there tension here? Ease into it with your breath. Let gravity support you.
Notice your belly and chest.
Feel the rise and fall of your breath. You don't need to change it—just notice.
Bring awareness to your hands.
Feel where they rest. Sense each finger. Can you feel the air around your skin?
Now your shoulders, neck, and jaw.
Soften them if you can. Let them hang heavy for a moment.
Finally, notice your face and head.
Your eyes, even behind closed lids. Your scalp, your forehead. Can you feel the space around your body too?
Let your whole body rest in this gentle field of attention. You are here. You are safe. The earth is holding you.
