Emotionally Offline

No signal. No feelings. Just static.

You're here, but distant. Thoughts don't come easy. The world feels muffled. You're not broken you're paused.

This is dorsal freeze. A state your nervous system enters when everything becomes too much. It’s quiet here maybe too quiet but it’s also protective.

You don’t have to fix it right now. Just notice one thing in the room with you. You’re still here.

There is no rush. When you're ready, movement will return. Until then: blink. Breathe. Let yourself be offline.

Numbness is a kind of intelligence. It means you once felt too much. And you survived.
